The beautiful Grotto Falls is located just outside of Glide, Oregon. The total height of the falls is 80 feet, and especially after the snow melts, the water cascades in a breath taking “curtain” effect. Grotto falls is named for the deep cut cave just behind the deluge of water, and is part of the Umpqua River Watershed. The stream flowing in this area is called the Emile Stream; named after French settler Emile Shivingny during 1875.

Thankfully, this enchanting waterfall is an easy destination to get to, the hike up several switchbacks to the falls is only 1/3 of a mile. One of the best parts of Grotto falls is the grotto itself- the cave behind the falling water is accessible and easy to get to. Great for exploring, the cave is filled with rocks and even some crawling critters.

The spectacular view, fun explorations, and easy hike make this a great waterfall for hikers of all levels, and friends or family looking for an adventure. Because of the opportunity to venture behind the falls, make sure to have a watchful eye on children at all times.

Wolf Creek Falls Trail is a 2.3 mile moderately difficult out and back trail located near Glide, Oregon that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Secluded in a tranquil forest setting, a beautiful two-tiered waterfall tumbles over rock cliffs to a pool below. The upper falls drops 75 feet and the lower falls drops 50 feet. The first half mile of the trail is wheelchair accessible.
During the rainy season of winter and early spring, the massive upper Wolf Creek Falls puts on a display of strength and power. Spring brings on lush vegetation and vibrant colors for photographers. Spring and early fall, with a light overcast, are considered the best weather conditions for taking memorable photos. The reduced water flows in the summer months reveal delicate and complex channels and pathways that water has carved into the bedrock cliffs underneath Wolf Creek Falls.

The 1.2 mile hike begins over an arched footbridge which spans Little River. The trail is disabled accessible up to a single picnic site located approximately .5 miles up the trail. The first half of the trail is classified as easy, but then becomes moderately difficult to Wolf Creek Falls due to steeper slopes. The trail is maintained by the local Wolf Creek Job Corps.

The trailhead is located 10.7 miles up Little River Road (Country Road 17) which starts from Highway 138 in Glide, Oregon.

Learning to dance hip hop is not hard!

Each class we will learn a short routine that will challenge you and bring you a sense of accomplishment. You'll have fun and get exercise at the same time!

This class is designed for teens and adults, all genders and levels of dance experience.

Junior Golf
The Club offers a junior golf program for children and grandchildren age 8 to 18.

This program provides ten weeks of group instruction each weekday to be determined by the club pro from June through August, with use of the course starting at 12:00 p.m.

The program has achieved a high level of success, giving young golfers an understanding of the fundamentals of golf as well as the courtesies and etiquette of the game.

Wednesday the course is reserved for Men’s Play from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm throughout the entire year.

The pro shop arranges a number of competitions, such as the “RCC Cup” in the winter and Summer League team play.
